[Letter to Dan]

Hope everything's going okay for you in Ontario. I'm gonna miss not having you around in Chicago. Even if I don't see you so much. (Ha!)
But if I'm really honest, I'm glad you got out of town when you did.
Things aren't exactly peachy here. I don't know if you've been able to keep track of the journals from where you are or not. But. Some Wanderer decided to they wanted to call out the CLF and demand war with them. Now everything and everyone's edgy, people are starting to get worked up about the fact the CLF will retaliate. Like, tightening security and stuff.
I don't know what's going to happen, what they'll do in reply to that.
But, I know it's not gonna be good.
From what I've seen from them in the last two and a half years, it's never good. And even if they've been quiet lately, it makes me more worried. Calm before the storm sort of feeling, y'know?
So yeah, I'm glad you're not around for it. At least someone's gotten away from it.
It's a small mercy, I suppose.
