APPEARANCE

Cassie stands at around 5'7" in height with an average to slender build. She's fairly pale-skinned, due to her tendency to stay out of the sun as she burns easily; she has light blonde hair that reaches a bit past her shoulders and is naturally messily curled and dark brown eyes. Dress-wise, she is normally in light colours and aims for comfortable and usually loose-fitting clothes. She has a penchant for blues and star motifs, having a particular fondness for the night skies.

Cassie tries to hold herself with confidence; as if she's trying to show out to the world that she can be brave, that she can stand on her own two feet. She seen as open and relaxed; she aims to make others comfortable in her presence. She's plenty with warm smiles and easy laughs generally, an absence of this a clear indicator that something is wrong.

Cassie's often the voice of reason, opting to find peaceful, controlled middle-ground with others and avoiding conflict. She's bright and helpful - always trying to see the best in others and hates to see people feeling low about themselves. As a whole, she likes to see the best of humanity, looking for the silver-linings and light in others and she's sincere about that frame of mind. Her determination can border on annoyance or overly-keen but she tries to be gentle despite her strong will. Cheery and warm most of the time, she's often a source of comfort for others. Whether it be kind words or a simple hug, she gladly offers compassion, seeking to bring a little light in during darker times.

When she's not happy, it definitely shows. From the strong, upbeat girl she usually is - she suddenly becomes rather withdrawn and shy. When out of her comfort zone, it also makes her rather self-conscious too and ends up just wanting to hide herself away from others. She's quietly devastated or even gloomy, retreating into herself and the bright light of nature will seem dim.

She's deeply stubborn at times. Unwilling to back down, she'll argue her case until the sun goes down. Cassie isn’t the strongest or the smartest, but she’s a valuable ally to have. She doesn’t give up on people, much to the dislike of some of those she befriends. And while she's there for those she cares about, she deeply dislikes others going out of their way for her sake. It's incredibly hypocritical but her nature is deeply selfless: while she will go above and beyond for others, she doesn't include herself in needing help.

Her softer nature, however, leaves room for her to be hurt. While she is gentle and compassionate, as well as easily trusting, she's open to others taking advantage of this. Her heart is on her sleeve and someone could easily snatch it from her.
